Nowadays, many parents send their children to various classesin the children's spare time. These classes can be classified into two categories. First, on school subject, their intention is to reinforce and enrich the children's knowledge acquired in school by means of more clarification and exercises. Second, classes to cultivate children's interest, such as classes in English, dancing, etc.
Children's attending classes in their spare time has become a controversial issue. Those who are for it think that the pratice is good for the long term benefit of children and can enlighten children's interest, broaden their horizon. Those who are against it hold the view that children have been deprived of their free timeby attending classes they are not interested and thus become mechanical learners, at the price of their own interests.
I think children should have the right to enjoy their childhood, and to play. But certain guidance by parents to attend some classes is necessarysince the parents havereasoning power and experince to raise the children to be prepared for their future with diversified interest and competence. But these classes should be refreshing and be able to attract children's interest and not too much.

my weekend
i had a happy weekend last week.on saturday morning, i watched tv and helped mymother wash clothes.after lunch,i did my homework.it was a little diffcult.in the afternoon, i played tennis with my friends.
on sunday morning, i went to library to read books.in the afternoon,i went to visit my grandparents.my grandmother cooked a delicious dinner for me. later, we went home.
it was an interesting weekend!
As usual,i got up at 8a.m.I made breakfast myself ,and then i woke my boyfriend up...After that,we went to work.....and blah blah blah..I did some laundry after i back home,then i enjoyed my cooking time and blah blah blah..at last,just went to bed and was ready for having a good dream!And you?
快乐的一周
这一周，发生了许许多多的事。其中有两件事我觉得我表现得尤其出色，这两件事一件关于数学，不用说，另一件就关于语文了。
周二，我们进行了数学第二单元测查。这天早上我心里就忐忑不安，牢牢记住了冯老师交给我们的四个字，“静生智慧”。意思是静下心来才能产生智慧。第二节课上课了，同学们陆陆续续的走进教室，拿出草稿本和大书。老师开始发卷子，发完卷子，我便认真的做起卷子来。我不断的在草稿本上打草稿，虽然我做的比较慢，不过我每题都在认真的做。“叮叮叮，叮叮叮！”下课了，同学们一一交上了卷子……到了下午，我更是把心提到了嗓子眼，因为下午王老师就要报分了。王老师走进教室，开始读分数表：“林依汶，100分！”我顿时惊呆了，几乎在想：“哇！林依汶尽然考了100分！”王老师接着往下报：“施睿99分，曾一丁99分……”“我尽然考了99分，呀！”看来这几天我进步还很大嘛！真是“功夫不负有心人”呀！
周四，冯老师又表扬了我，说是因为我的字写得干净、整洁。记得那天爸爸出去了，没人在家，我的字真的写得很好吗？我不相信。可当冯老师翻看我作业本时，我才看见我的作业写的既干净又整洁，字也写得比较好。等到下午翻开我的作业本时一看，呀！全做对了！下次一定更加认真做作业！虽然很开心，不过我并没有变脸。因为冯老师曾经教过我们“不要变脸”，说直白了就是“胜不骄，败不馁”。
这周我的收获也很大。第一，就是考试细心才能得高分；第二，就是家长不在家也要认真做作业；最后第三，就是懂得了“胜不娇，败不馁”的道理。这一周收获可真大呀！
